Jan Tucker, MBA, is a REALTORŪ for CENTURY 21 Ojai Valley, who is dedicated to the needs of her clients and her community.
Born and raised in Pittsburgh, PA, she earned her B.S. in psychology and sociology at The Pennsylvania State University, and her M.B.A. at The University of Pittsburgh.
Her successful business career spans 27 years of operations and marketing, as an employee of small, privately owned companies and Fortune 500 corporations, as well as sole proprietor of her own marketing and communications firm in Florida. Jan relocated to Florida in 1986 where she lived near family for 14 years, and from there branched out to other areas of the country to apply her experience to more adventurous endeavors.
Prior to moving to California, she served as director of marketing for Self Test Software in Atlanta, Georgia, an e-commerce company owned by Kaplan of New York. Her extensive Internet experience at Self Test was an inspiration for Jan to offer www.OjaiLive.com to Ojai. She views it as a way for the community of Ojai, an already closely knit town, to benefit in many ways, and hopes it will bring our residents and visitors even closer together in an effort to stay informed and serve each other! Jan's family consists of her mother and step-father who live near Clearwater Florida, and her brother and his family, located near Portland, Oregon (a truly traveling family). She has a niece and nephew and two beautiful great nieces. She is dating a great guy from Westlake Village. Last but not least, we can't forget Indy, her 14-year-old cat who has thrived through all her adventures since Florida's west coast!
Jan has many interests including spiritual development, art, travel, yoga, dancing, scuba diving, investing, and sincerely helping other people with their daily trials and tribulations.
She wants potential clients to know that through her own personal experience with real estate (buying, selling, and property management), she realizes the importance of their real estate dealings.
